External Volunteers and Sheffield City Council Redeployees

The content on this page including the following communication is specific to the external volunteers and Sheffield City Council (SCC) redeployees who have attended the adult social care Level 2 training in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The links highlighted below refer directly to an audio version of the training modules and will provide you with a valuable resource to support your ongoing practice and development and act as a refresher.

Should you experience any concerns whilst providing Level 2 care, either about your own practice, the practice of others and/or the safeguarding and welfare of people in your care, you should immediately raise your concerns with the manager of the care setting.

External volunteers may also contact the volunteer coordinator via the adultspractice@sheffield.gov.uk

SCC redeployees may also speak to their substantive line manager about their concerns and also have the option of contacting the practice development team via adultspractice@sheffield.gov.uk

The adultspractice inbox is monitored on a daily basis and all concerns will be responded to as a matter of urgency.

Thank you for your continued support. Please continue to look after yourself, you are a great asset to this city and everyone in it.
