We are continuing to run our planned programme of courses, which will be delivered via Zoom. Please use this online booking system to book onto training sessions taking place from April 2024 onwards. To book onto a course you will need to register on the system, which you can do by clicking register in the top right hand corner of the screen. If you have registered previously to book onto a course, you can log in using this same registration, you do not need to create a new one. If you have any queries, you can email us at adult.protection.training@sheffield.gov.uk however, please note all course bookings for the following courses, must be completed through the online system.

Important Notice about receiving our email:

When you book onto a course, you should receive an email confirming your place and a link to complete a pre-evaluation form. If you do not receive these please check your junk inbox. If these emails land in your junk inbox, please make sure that you add the email address training@SheffieldASP.org.uk to your safe senders list. You can do this by:

  • Going into your junk inbox, right click on an email from training@SheffieldASP.org.uk  go down to junk and then click “never block sender”.
  • Alternatively in outlook go to home on your top tool bar click this icon safe sender icon in the top left of the screen, open “junk email options”, click the “safe senders” tab, click “add” where you will be able to add the address, and then click “apply”.

Classroom etiquette is as follows:

Virtual training is to be treated with the same respect as face-to-face training.

  • Cameras should be working and on at the beginning of the session and when the trainer requests they are turned on. Please check that your camera is working in advance of the session. If your camera is not working, please contact business support to be re coursed (non-attendance policy applies if this is not undertaken in the outlined timescale).
  • Please use a Computer / Laptop. Attendees joining on a mobile phone will be asked to leave the session.

  • The training is not to be interrupted by planned Tradespeople, visitors or leaving to attend other meetings please. This is very disruptive to the training, the trainer and other delegates. The trainer has the discretion to ask you to leave the course if this should occur.

  • There will be regular breaks during all training to ensure delegates have leg stretches and refreshment breaks.

Thank you for understanding and cooperation, it is very much appreciated.

Development and Training Manager
