Customer Forum Achievements

The Safeguarding Customer Forum has worked on a number of projects:

Health Passport: Worked with the Sheffield Adult Safeguarding Partnership Board to design a health passport with the support of Mencap - Please see the Health Passport page
Sheffield Safe Places: Worked with the Sheffield Adult Safeguarding Partnership Board in the formulation of the Sheffield Safe Places initiative
Trading Standards: The Customer Forum supported the “Not Born Yesterday” Campaign Protecting vulnerable people from scams and rogue traders
Safeguarding annual report: Co-produced the 2018-19 Sheffield Adult Safeguarding Partnership Annual Report. Working with Disability Sheffield the Forum produced a unique video version of the annual report, interviewing key members of the Partnership as an alternative to a more traditional written annual report. SASP Policies and Procedures: Supported the development of the SASP Communication Strategy for 2024 - 2027
Strategy 2024-2027: The customer forum co-produced the 2024-2027 Sheffield Adult Safeguarding Partnership Board Strategy. You can read the strategy here.
Training Materials: Reviewed the SASPB safeguarding training materials alongside the SASPB Development and Training Manager.
Safeguarding Awareness Week: Involved in the planning of and presented at the South Yorkshire Safeguarding Awareness Week 2024 Launch Event.
