Safeguarding Children and Adults — Wednesday 11th November 9.30am–12.30pm

This session has been developed and delivered jointly by the Sheffield Safeguarding Children and Safeguarding Adults. It raises awareness of safeguarding issues for both adults and children at risk, exploring multigenerational families and considers how practitioners in Adults and Children’s services might work more effectively together.

Increasingly practitioners across both adults and children’s services are being encouraged to develop family-based approaches to working with vulnerability and need and this course provides an excellent opportunity to begin to explore the implications of this for practice.
